Drop in playgroup session in the Lynnmour area near Capilano University. Meet with other parents, share circle time or take a break while your child plays with others. Community Health Nurses, Infant Development Program consultants and Parent Community Developers regularly attend – come with all your questions. Everyone is welcome! Please bring a small food item for snack time and a drink for your child. Coffee and tea provided. $1/family group – Wednesdays 9:15 – 11:15am
So-Sah Latch Family Centre provides health and community services to members of the Squamish First Nation, including counselling (individual, family, and couple), drug and alcohol counselling, and community health services such as speech-language pathology and prenatal classes. Also offers an Elder’s Program that provides transportation to medical appointments, and an Adult Home Care Program that provides home support case management. The Family Program offers daily living skills support, family/parent group, Mother Bear drop-in program, and infant development workers. The Brighter Futures program offers educational workshops and activities that enhance parenting skills to parents with children ages birth to five years.
