Queen Mary and Westview Community School program meets the social and recreational needs of children and families of Queen Mary and Westview schools.

The Community Project Coordinator organizes in-school and after-school programs in partnership with the John Braithwaite Community Centre, North Vancouver Community Arts Council and many others. Activities include soccer, dance, science, art classes and much more.

Parents are invited to enjoy coffee mornings, parent luncheons, parenting classes, active adventures and other fun stuff. Come meet other parents from the school and community.

Pre-teen Programs: School Based

A number of North and West Vancouver Schools are running after-school recreation programs for 10-12 years olds, in collaboration with municipal recreation providers. These programs include programs offered on school sites, as well as programs where pre-teens join a “walking school bus” to travel to a neighbourhood recreation facility. Parkgate Community Centre offers daycamp programs for your school age child on School District 44 and some school based professional days as well as summer daycamp programs. These programs are licensed and do accept Ministry of Children and Family Development subsidy. Also available are Pro D Day and School holidays camps.
