North Vancouver Recreation Commission
The North Vancouver Recreation Commission provides recreation services in the City and District of North Vancouver. The Commission operates 7 major Community Recreation Centres, Centennial Theatre and Grant Connell Tennis Centre. So-Sah-latch Family Centre
So-Sah Latch Family Centre provides health and community services to members of the Squamish First Nation, including counselling (individual, family, and couple), drug and alcohol counselling, and community health services such as speech-language pathology and prenatal classes. Also offers an Elder’s Program that provides transportation to medical appointments, and an Adult Home Care Program that provides home support case management. The Family Program offers daily living skills support, family/parent group, Mother Bear drop-in program, and infant development workers. The Brighter Futures program offers educational workshops and activities that enhance parenting skills to parents with children ages birth to five years.
