This is a summer program that establishes children’s health and development through swim and bike lessons.  

Ava Summer camp is designed with musical performances, art activities and play time. Children partake in an energetic and proactive four week learning environment. Choose from a full time or day camp designed for novice, intermediate and advanced levels.

Balloholic summer programs include a week of multi-sport and basketball camps for children. Sessions involve the fundamentals of sports, games, teamwork and individual skills.

Camp Bowe-Isle is a Christian based science camp which offers a variety of summer camps for children, youth and family groups.  Swimming, canoeing, hiking and many games are offered within the 200 acres surrounding Camp Bowe-Isle.

Camp Douglas offers a beautiful Christian campsite which includes a private beach and forest near Roberts Creek. Three days to full week retreats are available as well as private group rentals in the off season.

Located between Deep Cove and the Indian River, Camp Jubilee is accredited by the British Columbia Camping Association for their exceptional safety and leadership. Summer sessions, school retreats and private group rentals all supply a safe and memorable environment. Duration varies from day trips, over night or week long retreats and transportation is provided across the river.

John Braithwaite Community Centre (JBCC), in partnership with North Shore Neighbourhood House provides a wide range of programs to support families, children and youth in the Lower Londsdale area.  The Family Resource Centre includes a Parent Child Mother Goose program, several drop-in programs for children 0-6 years of age, breast feeding support, a parent education series, young parent baby drop-in, post partum support, story time with the city librarian, a Fathers program and a program for Grandparents.

Students of all abilities are welcome to join the two week camp located at Collingwood School. Classes run from 9:00am-3:00pm daily where students are divided into age groups. After care is also available daily until 5:00pm. At the end of the second week a performance put on by the students for family and friends.

North Shore Neighborhood House runs a variety of children’s summer camps from Monday to Friday 7:45am-5:45pm. Weekly programs include water park adventures, sports, science, creative arts and fun in the sun.

The North Vancouver Recreation Commission provides recreation services in the City and District of North Vancouver.  The Commission operates 7 major Community Recreation Centres, Centennial Theatre and Grant Connell Tennis Centre. Parkgate Community Centre offers daycamp programs for your school age child on School District 44 and some school based professional days as well as summer daycamp programs. These programs are licensed and do accept Ministry of Children and Family Development subsidy. Also available are Pro D Day and School holidays camps.

Stage Craft Theatre School provides an opportunity for all ages to perform in dance, drama and vocal programs. Family and friends are encouraged to join on the last day of camp when children will perform a showcase. Registration is available in person and online.
