Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland

The Big Sisters program matches Lower Mainland girls (ages 7-17) with a volunteer Big Sister in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. For a minimum of 1 year, each Big & Little Sister match meets once a week to spend 3-5 hours together. Matches enjoy doing a wide range of activities together including making crafts, playing sports, watching movies, and just hanging out and talking!

NorVan Boys and Girls Club – North Vancouver

The Norvan Club has been servings its community since 1988. It is located on the corner of the Lynnmour school grounds near the foot of the Second Narrows Bridge in North Vancouver. Our site is a self-contained portable that includes washrooms, a kitchen, an office, a games area, (with bumper pool, foosball, and air hockey), a crafts area, and computers for the kids to use. Additionally, we have access to the school and a number of surrounding playgrounds and recreation facilities.

Queen Mary and Westview Community School Program

Queen Mary and Westview  Community School program meets the social and recreational needs of children and families of Queen Mary and Westview schools. 

The Community Project Coordinator organizes in-school and after-school programs in partnership with the John Braithwaite Community Centre, North Vancouver Community Arts Council and many others.  Activities include soccer, dance, science, art classes and much more.

Parents are invited to enjoy coffee mornings, parent luncheons, parenting classes, active adventures and other fun stuff.  Come meet other parents from the school and community.
