North Shore Child Care Resource and Referral Program (CCRR)

The North Shore Child Care Resource and Referral Program, located at North Shore Community Resources in Capilano Mall,  provides child care information and resources to parents, caregivers and child care professionals.  Phone 604-985-7138 for information about:

  • locations of child care (0-12 years) and pre-school programs
  • locations of drop-in and Parent Child Mother Goose programs for parents, caregivers and young children
  • subsidies for child care
  • workshops for parents and child care providers

North Shore Community Resources (NSCR)

North Shore Community Resources is a not-for profit agency that provides training, information, resources and referral services through the Child Care Resource and Referral Program (CCRR), for parents, child care providers (licensed, registered and informal), ECE students and the community.

North Shore Disability Resource Centre

The North Shore Disability Resource Centre works to ensure that people with disabilities, along with their families and friends, can participate actively as members of the community. We are committed to working toward a community which is free of physical, financial and attitudinal barriers.

Child Care Resource and Referral Program provides support, resources and referral services for child care providers and parents in all communities in the province.

Local non-profit associations are funded by the provincial Ministry of Children and Family Development to deliver Child Care Resource and Referral Program services in locations across B.C., including a province-wide Aboriginal service provided by the British Columbia Aboriginal Child Care Society.

Regional Child Care Resources and Referral

Child Care Resource and Referral Program provides support, resources and referral services for child care providers and parents in all communities in the province.

Local non-profit associations are funded by the provincial Ministry of Children and Family Development to deliver Child Care Resource and Referral Program services in locations across B.C., including a province-wide Aboriginal service provided by the British Columbia Aboriginal Child Care Society.  The Vancouver Coastal Region coordinator works from North Shore Community Resources in North Vancouver.

So-Sah-latch Family Centre

So-Sah Latch Family Centre provides health and community services to members of the Squamish First Nation, including counselling (individual, family, and couple), drug and alcohol counselling, and community health services such as speech-language pathology and prenatal classes. Also offers an Elder’s Program that provides transportation to medical appointments, and an Adult Home Care Program that provides home support case management. The Family Program offers daily living skills support, family/parent group, Mother Bear drop-in program, and infant development workers. The Brighter Futures program offers educational workshops and activities that enhance parenting skills to parents with children ages birth to five years.
